Rodanto Ltd is committed to driving out acts of Modern Slavery from within its own business and within its supply chains.  The company, directors, managers and agency providers acknowledges responsibility to the Modern Slavery act 2015 and will ensure transparency within the organisation and with suppliers and services to our organisation.

Rodanto is an importer and grower of produce, established in 1953 and located in North Kent, supplying supermarket, wholesale customers and food service providers.  Our supply chain is across a number of countries across the globe, mostly within the EU but also with countries outside of the EU.

As part of our commitment to combat modern slavery, we ensure that all of our labour providers have a GLA licence and follow the provisions of the Gang master Licensing act 2004.

We follow the Ethical Trade Initiative (ETI), a leading alliance of companies, trade unions and NGOs that promotes respect for workers’ rights around the globe.

As part of our supplier approval audit we ensure that our suppliers are adhering to the requirements of the ETI base code.

As part of our companies due diligence processes into modern slavery and human trafficking we will monitor the level of management control to ensure that sources of supply are monitored.

Rodanto Ltd will not knowingly work with or support any organisation or supplier involved in slavery or human trafficking.

The Directors and Senior Management shall take the responsibility for implementing this policy statement and its objectives and shall provide adequate support and resources to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within the organisation.
